my weekend....
Friday
I went to base friday afternoon cuz I was one of the drivers for the toys for tots drive. Every xmas the marines corps. reserves runs the toys for tots drive, we have barrels everywhere around the area with marines standing next to it. ppl donate toys and $$$ and it was my job to go to each site and pick up all the stuff. Cpl Horton drove as I navigated, it was raining like a bitch and at the end we drove almost 100 miles. I felt sick after the drive cuz he was weaving and speeding around trying to get shit done ASAP. I was dead tired when I got back to Arcadia.

Sat.
I drove to Camp Pendelton at 4am to take a physical fitness test, PFT. I got back to Arcadia at like 11am and went to sleep. Later that afternoon Paul called me up to go to a bar with his GF susan and her friend Christina. I had to go to base again sunday but I thought why not and went with them. We drank at some place in L.A. and susans friend was pretty cute, so it was fun. We went to Dragon Mark around 1am to get some food after all the drinking. Christina didnt know that she can get stinky tofu in the US. I was pretty shocked at that and I asked her how long has she been here. I forgot how old she was when she came but it was pretty damn long ago. She's from orange county though so its not too weird that she didnt know she can get that here.

Sun.
I didnt get to go to sleep till like 5am after the bar but I had to get up at 11am and go to base. I got on base ontime and Cpl Horton and I had a 4 hr driving shift to pick up the toys again. By the end of sunday I was pooped. I got back from base and pretty much went straight to sleep.

All in all it was a busy weekend.
