Tomorrow is the last day of AT and I go home! finally. Today my gunnery sergent called me into his office and told me that I am being put up for an award... possibly a medal for the work I have done here that last 2 weeks.

Ok a real post.....

Sorry I have not been posting for the last month but I have been too damn busy. NOW.... TIME TO SHARE AND VENT!!!

Part I

I went to Vegas 2 weeks ago with hsing and the guys. It was fun for the 1st day. Then ALL DOWN HILL...... WTF 11 blacks in a row. Son of B@#$! lets just say Dan wasnt lucky this time in vegas. We ALL lost MUCHO $$$.

Part II

OMFG! I'm 24! Shit... this can't be good. I remember when I just turned 16. I noticed how my life has changed in the past few yrs and all i have to say is, it is getting boring. We took advantage of all the time we all had to spend with eachother when we were all younger and now we barely see eachother. Well n e ways, I spent my BDay in my hotel room with a Marine buddy of mine and we just watched a movie and drank some beers. I wish I was back home with my friends and family but life isnt always fair and plus I joined the Corps, all part of the job I guess.

Part III

WTF is AT???
Every year as most of you know I go on active duty. Well this yr I am doing my 2 weeks of active duty with my squadron at Marine Corps base Camp Pendleton. My unit as mosta u all know is Marine Air Group 46 Detachment Alpha, Helicopter Marine Light Attack - 775 (HMLA-775), 4th Marine Air Wing. My main job in the Marines is logistics embarkation specialist. WTF does that mean? Basically I know how to properly load shit onto ships and planes. Sounds easy right? Wrong! There is a lot that goes into this job, certain aircrafts can only hold so many LB of gear, some larger aircarfts can hold up to 2 cobras and/or huies. etc........ These 2 weeks have been long because we had to get caught up on all of our annual recertifications just to be Marines. We all know I did the rifle range again last month. These past 2 weeks I have been gassed, drowed and ran like there was no tomorrow. On Sunday we had our annual physical training and needless to say this was the worst I have ever done. Due to my fked up ankle I have not been able to run over 1.5 miles with out great pain and in this test I had to run 3 miles. After our physical test we all got bussed to the GAS CHAMBER. Here we were issued our gas masks and we took turns 15 at a time to enter the chamber. The idea of is to make sure that we know how to use our gas masks and also to gain trust in them. The gas they used is CS gas, fking thing burns ur skin and you dont wanna even think about trying to breath it in. It feels like you have hot sauce all over your face and you eyes and nose water up like a mofo. On Monday we had to do our swin qual. Here we had to practice jumping off a 5 story tower, tread water for 4 min and do some tactical swimming. Along with all this shit we still had to come back to work everyday since the 1st of june... AND I MEAN EVERYDAY. I get up every morning at arounf0515 and on days that we have training we have to get up at around 0400. Cant wait till sat. jun 14th... I GO HOME. AT WILL B OVER.

Part IV

SCHOOL....

Well people... I finally got back on track with my school. I got my AA (uselss shit) but atleast that knocked all the GEs outta the way. I also am leaving PCC. I was excepted to Cal State Northridge for Buis. Mang. with Acct. I will be comming in as a junior. After getting fked over by UCR I didnt think I was gonna get into Northridges Buis Dep because ppl told me that it was a really good school for buis. You all may have heard me talk about CSU Fullerton because that was my forsure back up school. Looks like I dont have to go there n e more! Now I just cant let what happend at cal poly pomona happend again here. 2 yrs or less is what the school told me I have left to grad. I have to do this right now.

Part V

SWAT

I met up with the leader of Pasadena Swat teams sniper unit. The guy and I talked alittle and he said that he would help me join their team as a sniper once I get outta the Corps. How I met him was through a hook up. I have been thinking about this for a while know and I still dont know what to do.

Part VI

Duty....

How the hell do I have all this time right now to write all this junk? I got stuck as duty driver tonight. That means from 0700 this morning to 0700 tomorrow I will be here at the unit sitting on my ass and keeping watch. If a officer needs a ride then Im the bitch that has to drive him. It isnt that bad though because the duty NCO has to watch over the barracks and thats some boring shit. Here I get to watch movies and play my playstation.

Well... thats about all I have to say right now. There was some drama that happend down here. I'll post that shit when I get back. But I will give you ppl an idea of what the drama is. Has to do with girls in the damn military and how they bitch all the time.

Annual Training...

Talk about a long 2 weeks. Today is Monday of the 2nd week of AT. So much stuff has gone down last week. I dont have much time right now so I'll have to leave the details for when I have time. Just wanted you all to know that I'm still alive and I will keep making new posts.
